Walpole, MA - The Team New England Hockey Club is excited to share that the 2009 Elite Team strung together a perfect 5-0 record this past weekend, en route to being crowned as the 2018 Militia Cup Champions.

The team began the weekend with a pair of wins on Friday, defeating Providence Hockey Club and Wolf Den by scores of 8-6 and 6-5, respectively.  On Saturday, it was more of the same as the team breezed past the Mass Edge 67's and earned the #1 Seed in the semi-finals.

On Sunday, a pair of wins including a 4-1 score in the Championship Game ultimately propelled the TNE 09 Elites to the title.  Congrats to the Team New England 2009 Elites, as well as our coaching staff of current UMass Amherst players Brett Boeing, John Leonard (2018 6th Round NHL Draft Pick -- San Jose Sharks), and Brad Arvanitis, on their 2018 Militia Cup Championship!!  We will see everyone in 2019!
